Your images stay on your device.
CompressOrDie is designed so the image compression workflow can happen locally in your browser.
Image processing
When you select an image, your browser reads it and runs the compression process locally. The selected image and generated result are held in your browser session so you can compare and download them.
Uploads and accounts
The core compressor does not require an account or upload your image files to a server. We do not add watermarks to downloaded results.
